Swing Ostravice - Tale - Another Challenge Tour Card Will Be Granted
6th tournament of Czech PGA Tour will be held in Ostravice Golf Club in Northern Moravia (mora at www.ostravice-golf.cz). Local golf fans might look forward to see Skalica tournament's winner Filip Mrůzek or media star Roman Šebrle as well as top professionals from Czech Republic or abroad.
There will be minichart made of Ostravica (June 22nd to June 24th) and Tále (Slovakia, June 28th to June 30th) and the winner will be granted another Challenge Tour card for Northern Ireland Open in Assiciation with Sphere Global and Ulster Bank tournament held Aug 6th till Aug 9th at Galgorm Castle, Ballymena, North Ireland with prize-money 170.000,- Eur.
Spring (Gecko) swing winner Marcus Pastor of Spain received his card after Ypsilonka tournament. Mr. Pastor showed the best result stability. He won Black Bridge tournament and furthermore he was able to attain 9th place at Konopiště OPEN and 10th place at Ypsilonka tournament.
Mr. Pavel Krenk, boss of the promoting company Ceska 1 comments: "Challenge Tour card improves attractivity of Czech PGA Tour's tournaments. While Spring (Gecko) swing faced high number of foreign players with very good playing ability, another tournaments at Skalica and Austerlitz allowed Czech players to reach the top. I am very curious how this battle will look like in June. Ostravice tournament belonged to the best events in 2014 and I am happy we will play there this year again", adds Krenk.
Prize money at Ostravice are CZK 400.000, i. e. Eur 14.800,- There is a free entrance for spectators. Hobby players might even take part in PRO-AM tournament or at amateur tournament. 3 sport TV channels will present 1hr footage.
