EXTEC Trophy at Ypsilon GC: Kořínek Leads after Day 1
With a brilliant score 67 (-5) came the leader after the 1st day of EXTEC Trophy of CZechOneTour 2017, Aleš Kořínek. One stroke behind him are tied (ex-)local Ondrej Lieser and Filip Mrůzek - both played well at Zbraslav event and German Maximilian Walz.
Sympathic Moravian Kořínek commented his today's play: "I made two boges at 3par holes, but the rest was quite OK. It was important, I made three six-to-eight metres long putts, that made me calm. Tomorrow I focus on beating guys behind me, I expect their attack". The most important moment were the series of four birdies at back nine and par saved at 18th.
EXTER Trophy by CzechOne is held at well-prepared venue Ypsilon Golf Course and it faces cold and rainy weather. It is a part of CzechOne Tour 2017, prize-money are CZK 400.000 (eur 14.800) and it is qualification for 15 places at ProGolfTOur event next week (for eur 30.000). Tournament is covered with 3 Czech sport TV stations.
