ALTEPRO Trophy - Julien Brun in Lead after Day 2

With an excellent score -6 (totally -7) flew Frech Julien Brun up to the top of leaderboard of ALTEPRO Trophy by EXTEC of Pro Golf Tour series. This is the new venue record of Kynžvart GC, 66 from the back tees.

Very well played here Czech Jakub Bareš, overall -3 (T5). One stroke back are Czechs Mrůzek, Lieser and Matuš. With today's score -4 there is T27 Jan Cafourek in leaderboard.

Cut made even Šimon Zach, Michal Pospíšil, Aleš Kořínek and Štěpán Daněk.

Best Czech player Jakub Bareš gave a comment: "I played well both days. We were lucky to start at Sokolov (Day 1) early enough, with no wind during front 9. I faced my first this year's "bogeyfree" round. Today at Kynžvart I created some occasions to score, but at some holes I had to defeat from bogeys or even worse. Tomorrow I will attack the first positions!"

Leading after Day 1, Leskovar from Slovenia, scored +11 today. He makes the cut but hardly he will get into TOP10 or better.

After today's 9 holes there seemed to be a chance for Victor Joffray (F) with 6 birdies and only one bogey, finally he scored 8 birdies (!) but also 5 bogeys, with -3 position T16.

Final round starts on Sunday 30th, at 8,00 from tees 1 & 10 at Kynžvart.

Promoters also organized "Missed Cut Tournament" at Sokolov with no prize money, but 6 cards for upcoming Pro Golf Tour events at Austria.

 ALTEPRO Trophy by EXTEC 2020 is held Aug. 28 - 30. at Sokolov & Kynžvart, prize-money are Eur 40.000,-. Next tournament will be held Sept. 2. - 4. at Schladming - Dachstein (A).
