Sedláček Wins at Play-Off

The exciting round showed ex-local Ondrej Lieser - he even attained the play-off at Ypsilon Kenox by CzechOne tournament held at Ypsilonka GC. But Tadeáš Sedláček was luckier in and he won the tournament. Third place gained Filip Mrůzek scoring 66 today.

The second day of Ypsilon Kenox Cup started 30 minutes later due to weather conditions. The first attack for top positions came from Filip Mrůzek (-4 after front nine). Mrůzek finally brought -6 and this was enough to get to "podium". Another attack came from Ondrej Lieser that showed even at Pannonia that he is "Man of the 2nd round".  Lieser scored 68 (-4) and then was watching the leaderboard with the score of Sedláček (at hole 16 when Lieser finished his round). Sedláček made bogey at 17 but he also scored at par5 hole Nr. 18, which meant play-off. Play-off was played at hole 18 again. After second hit both players were 10 metres from the green, referrees had to measure who will play earlier his 3rd hit. Sedláček played first, nice approach 2 feet from the flag while Lieser was too short and stopped his ball in a rough near green. Putting was easy for Sedlacek (birdie), Lieser missed his putt as well as his chance to win.

Winner Sedlacek commented: "I always enjoy playing at Ypsilonka. Today I could rely on my short play while my today's putts were not that good. I lost at 15 and 17. During the play-off I remembered this year's Tale tournament where I was beaten in play-off. But luckily this did not influence me. I am really happy to win here and I would like to send my thanks to my dad"

The best woman was Šideri Váňová (T6th place) and the best foreign player was Polish Zielinski (leader after Day 1). The best amateur was German Alexander Simmes (T6)

The next event of CzechOne will be Zbraslav Tournament held since Oct. 17th. The co-promoter is Prague Golf Team project lead by Mr. Michael Krejčí. Prize-Money will be CZK 600.000,-
