Aleš Kořínek took the advantage of a better weather in the morning of the 1st day of RENOCAR
Czech PGA Tour Austerlitz & Golf Magazine Trophy and now he is at the top of a leaderboard. One stroke behind him there are 3 players - Marek Sikala, Filip Mrůzek and Aleš Procházka (all Czechs) scoring -2.

More than 70 PROs as well as amateurs started their competition on a 1st day of RENOCAR Czech PGA Tour Austerlitz & Golf Magazine Trophy at Austerlitz / Slavkov golf course. There was a slight advantace for morning flights - during a day the weather got worse and worse - wind, rain or heavy rain.

Today's best playing Aleš Kořínek commented: „I played well today, there was a surprising development of a weather. I was upset I had to start in the very morning but (at the end) this showed to be an advantage - other guys came completely wet to the clubhouse. I started my play with two birdies (incl. 4m putt just in the 1st one) and this showed to be the basis of my result. I faced slight problems at hole No 15 where I approached with the hit directly to a flag but later the backspin started to work and I spinned off till rought before the green. So I had to approach once more and then made two putts. But what I lost at 15 I received back later on - I scored on all last holes. I am satisfied and tomorrow I will do my best to win!"

The best foreign players tie 5th place: Jonathan Day (UK), Tamás Lugosi (HU) and Slovak Juraj Zvarík (all -1).

RENOCAR Czech PGA Tour Austerlitz & Golf Magazine will finish with 2nd day tomorrow, prize-money fund is CZK 400 thousand (Eur 14.800) and there is also additional programme for visitors and amateurs held here in Austerlitz.
