General Information of Czech PGA Tour 2015

1. Participation in Czech PGA Tour 2015

Any golfer having PRO status or players complying with the Tour or Tournament rules may participate in Czech PGA Tour (CPAT) regardless of citizenship, nationality or association membership. The maximum capacity of a Czech PGA Tour Tournament is 136 players. Unless specified in the tournament rules otherwise, men and women play together with different tees policy applied.

The CPAT 2015 schedule includes minimum of 9 tournaments. The final tournament of the Tour named Grand Finale has special registration conditions. The Czech PGA Match Play Championship and the Czech PGA Stroke Play Championship are an integral part of the Czech PGA Tour 2015 tournament schedule. Czech PGA Stroke Play Championship is the qualifying tournament of the PGA Czech members for the PGA Professional Championship of Europe.

2. Entry forms

The only ways to register for the Tour or a Tournament can be done through online form at www.czechone.cz in the tour info/registration section or by an e-mail to touroffice@czechone.cz on prescribed form. Players may register for the whole Tour, block of tournaments (swing), or for individual tournaments. After submitting the registration form the player will receive payment request/information. Received payment is a condition for the entry – for the Tour or an individual tournament. The Grand Finale tournament has its own entry/qualification criteria.

Registration for the Czech PGA Tour 2015 - TOUR MEMBERSHIP

The Tour entry fee is of 2800CZK or 100 EUR. By registration the player will indicate which tournaments he/she intends to take part in 2015.

The Tour Member will obtain the Czech PGA Tour 2015 Membership Card.

The Membership Card holder is eligible for the following benefits:

  • Guaranteed spot in final tournament regardless position in the CPAT Order of Merit (this applies to the first 40 registered players)
  • Category B classification for the individual tournament registration
  • 10 % discounts  on entry fee for the individual tournament and other benefits (please follow the Tour/tournament pages)
  • Prime time for practice rounds
  • Free driving range incl. balls during the  official training days and the tournament days (even if not provided for all participants)
  • Access to the Tour Members Only Area at the driving range
  • Tour Member only entitled - as a winner of select tournaments - to  obtain European competition tournament of higher level.

Registration for an individual Czech PGA Tour 2015 Tournament

Any player complying with the CPAT rules may register for an individual tournament within the registration deadline. The conditions are: 1) completed entry form and 2) entry fee payment. Has the player not paid the entry fee within the deadline – he/she will not be included in the field.

Registration Deadline:

There are two deadlines unless stated otherwise by the Tournament propositions. The right for the guaranteed participation applies to categories A and B applies only to the 1st deadline. The 2nd deadline applies to entries outside of categories A and B up to the capacity of the tournament.

In exceptional cases the Promoter may accept the registration up to the moment of the official Starting list (tee times) publication. The cancellation of registration may be done without cancellation fee payment up to the date of 2nd deadline. In case of cancellation after this date the fee is 100% of the Entry fee.  In case of illness (necessary to prove by medical report) the cancellation fee is 50% of the Entry fee.

3. Entry Fee

The entry fee for each tournament must be paid by money transfer to the promoter´s account based on invoice issued by the promoter. The receipt will be provided upon the registration at the Tournament Office on site.

The entry fee amount is specified in the tournament propositions and in the entry form.

The price includes tournament participation and refreshment during the rounds. Access to the practice areas and the fee for the practice round are charged in accordance with the tournament propositions and in accordance to the Tour Member Benefits scheme.

4. Tournament Qualification Rules

The seeding/distribution of spots in the CPAT 2015 tournament is ruled by the Categories eligibility until the full capacity of the tournament is reached.

Category A: Minimum of 40 places are reserved for Top 40 players of the Czech PGA Tour Order of Merit 2015 or at any ranking of international competitions PGA (US PGA Tour, European Tour, Ladies European Tour) or one or two competitive levels lower competitions (Challenge etc.), still subject of the entry fee.

Definition of category:  Top 40 CPAT OoM, Higher level tours.

Category B: Minimum of 40 places will be reserved for the CPAT 2015 Tour members.Players of Category A exceeding the top 40 places limit. All subject to the entry fee.

Definition of category: CPAT 2015 Tour members. Category A overlapping players.

Category C: Remaining spots in the Tournament will be granted to the players – members of PGA Czech or PGA Slovakia. Further, these spots will be granted to the players meeting with the criteria for Category A, B in case the respective capacities of categories A,B are exceeded. All subject to the entry fee.

Definition of category: Category A over limit players, Category B over limit players, members of the Czech PGA, member of Slovak PGA, all other entries.

Category D: Promoter or Partner „wild cards“ are within the total capacity of the Tournament.  Wild cards are fully mandatory by the Promoter or Partner and cannot be guaranteed automatically.

5. Catering and Accommodation

The organizer will offer catering packages for the players entered for the tournament. The service includes breakfast and lunch menu (mostly consisting of three-course meal or a buffet). The promoter does not provide any reservations for meals and accommodation automatically. The Czech PGA Tour arranges for preferred conditions for the players with most of the participating golf resorts. Details regarding catering and accommodation offers will be provided by the tournament propositions.

6. Pro am players participation

Pro player is obliged to take part in Pro am Tournament if requested by the organizer. Participation in the Pro am should be understood as mandatory for the top 25 ranked players on the Czech PGA Tour Order of Merit registered for the tournament. The promoter will confirm the Pro am nomination to the pro player by e-mail 24 hours after the registration deadline at the latest. All participants in the Pro am tournament automatically receive daily catering service free of charge including breakfast, refreshment for the play, lunch and/or dinner. Any Pro player has the possibility to apply for participation in Pro am Tournament regardless nomination.

Each Pro player has the right to nominate amateur player/s for the Pro am tournament. At this case the organizer will consider the request -  subject to availability of capacity. If the any Pro player nominates any number of amateur players for the Pro am or an amateur tournament, the PRO player is entitled to 20% commission of the amateur entry fee after the entry fee has been paid by the participant(s). Entry fee for amateur players for Pro am amounts 6 000 CZK for one playing spot. The discounted flight fee (3 amateurs at once) is 12 000 CZK. The amateur players register in the Pro am section at www.czechone.cz. To make the assignment of amateur players to the respective Pro player the Pro player will indicate these individuals in his/her tournament entry form.

7. Presence and information

Each player is obliged to check in himself/herself at the Tournament Office 1 hour before the start of the tournament at the latest. Tournament Official Board is the basic source of all players’ information.

8. Cut and calculation of prize money

The players without the pro status are not included in the cut. Final calculation of the prize money distribution of prize money therefore does not include amateur players unless they declared request for the prize money in a written statement prior to the tournament.

9. Prize giving ceremony

Each player is obliged to take part at the prize giving ceremony, which will take place according to the Tournament´s Program. In case of cut system this obligation applies to the final round players.

10. Prize Money Pay Out

Based on the approved results of the Tournament the Tournament Office will calculate distribution of the Prize Money. Czech Crowns (CZK) is the official currency of the CPAT 2015.

The Promoter bears no responsibility for not sending payment to the player’s account if the account was not correctly specified (incl. all bank transfer details) by the pro player during registration for the tournament or the Czech PGA Tour.

For the foreign players the transfer can be made in CZK or EUR according to the player´s instructions. Amounts up to 5 000 CZK/200 EUR may be paid out in cash.   

The amounts paid out are subject to taxation according to current legislation. Currently the withholding tax for payments over 10 000 CZK is paid by the promoter. After the deduction of the amount from the account (transfer or check cashing) the promoter will send on request to the player Confirmation about the withholding tax payment.

11. Participation in the press meeting and event promotion

Each Pro player is obliged to take part in the after the round media meetings and/or official photography taking when invited by the Promoter. In order to not disturb the fairness of the play and the preparation for it the Promoter will advise these players of such invitation well in advance.

Players finishing on the top 3 places in the Pro am as well as in the main pro competition are obliged to take part in the media meeting/press conference without organizer’s request.
