Ypsilonka CUP for Kratz (SWE)

What a final tournament! In windy weather the best player of the 3rd tournament of Gecko (Spring) swing was Swedish Victor Kratz scoring 139 (69 + 70). The whole swing won Gecko nominee Marcus Pastor (ESP) and he was given Challenge Tour card for Northern Ireland OPEN.

The winner, Victor Kratz, commented his today's game:"I played well today. According to me the most decisive moment was hole 12 (par 4) where I drove with iron 4, then attacked the flag and needed only one putt. This was important for my psychics and the rest I played in a good mood. This was my first professional tournament won and I really enjoy it. I learned about Czech PGA Tour from my friend Carl Jismark (winner at Konopiste GC), he called me just after his victory. I feel happy to obey him and come", added happy Swedish.

Overall winner of Gecko Swing was sympathic Spanish Marcus Pastor who gained his start during winter Gecko Tour in Andalusia, Spain (more at www.thegeckoprotour.com). "It was very hard, specially yesterday. I felt myself bad, I did not score. Today I faced two bogeys, some pars, even the second nine was pretty demanding. There's lots of biozones, I don't like them at all. I do not understand why Ypsilonka have so many of them. But the rest of the Course is really nice, as well as the club house and service here. Czech PGA Tour have excellent organisation, I have to appreciate management team here. In the rest of this season I want to focus on Challenge Tour tournaments where invite me and on Q-School", Pastor added.

Prize money fund for tournaments of Gecko Swing was Eur 10.000 each. Next swing is Slovak/Moravian in May: HANT Trophy in Skalica (prize-money Eur 18.500,-) and UNIQA Czech PGA Austerlitz & Golf Trophy in Austerlitz (Eur 14.500,-).
