Ypsilon CzechOne - Tintěra Leads after Day 1
Changing weather, most of the time cold, faced players of Ypsilon CzechOne tournament held at Ypsilonka GC near Liberec. The best scoring player was Lukáš Tintěra (-3), followed by Marek Nový, Marek Siakala, Stanislav Matuš and Milan Vantuch (-2, T2).
Tintěra comments: "9AM I landed at Prague Airport coming from Egypt. Last night I've spent at Istanbul Airport but I was ready to take my car and go to Liberec. So I did. I played well today except hole No. 7 (strike to the water hazard with iron 4). What I have to practise now is putting - there are different greens than in Egypt".
There is a prize-money fund CZK 400.000 (Eur 14.800). Successful players may get 20 cards for ProGolfTour tournament held at Ypsilonka May 4th-6th (for Eur 30.000).
Next tournament of Czech PGA Tour will be held at Slavkov (Austerlitz) May 15th to 17th.
