Oaza Czech Energo PGA Strokeplay Championship at Ypsilonka - Stanislav Matuš is the Leader after Day 1
After the first day of Oaza Energo Czech PGA Strokeplay Championship of Czech PGA Tour at Ypsilonka GC the leader is Czech player Stanislav Matuš. His scorecard showed -3 at this could bring him a good overall result. Stanislav's comment: "I played well today, wind was favourable to me, especailly on par 5 holes. I was good at hitting fairways as well as greens with only one mistake in estimation of play. In further days I would like to play the same golf and of course to win the tournament".
Pavel Krenk - director of the tournament, was pleased with the interest of spectators: "It is possible to see that media offensive was successfull - local golfers came to see Czech and foreign starts playing their course"
The biggest surprise of the tournament is the 2nd place of amateur player Jan Cafourek. Also leading lady - Ms. Šideri Váňová - attained -1 and holds T3 together with Czech Lieser, Italian Elli and Spanish Sagar.
Overall prize money is CZK 500.000 (Eur 18,500) with the final day on Sunday. Entrance for visitors is free and they are warmly welcomed.
